Tiffany Hughes has always made health and fitness a priority, through her involvement in academic sports, as well as recreational activities. Working for the State of Michigan as a social worker is a very stressful occupation, and Tiffany turned to exercise as a healthy mechanism for managing the stresses of life, and her job. She was always interested in the many health benefits that exercise has to offer; however, the stresses of her job, coupled with a high-risk pregnancy in 2007 eventually led to a return to old, unhealthy habits. She was soon faced with the task of losing 70-plus pounds due to pregnancy and an increasingly sedentary life-style.
She returned to exercise, and began to become increasingly interested in the possibility of pursuing a profession in the Health and Fitness field. She then hired Steven Pierce in 2008 to aid in shedding those last pounds of baby-weight, and discovered that she was ready to commit to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer. While Tiffany studied for her personal trainer certification, she worked at RS Health and Fitness as a trainer’s assistant. There, she continued to build her skills, while gaining hands-on experience. Besides being a tough trainer that gets results, Tiffany understands the struggles of those on their weight-loss journey, as she has been through it herself. She simply enjoys helping others to improve their quality of life, and become a healthier, happier version of them self!
